St Hilda’s Church and Raven Hall, Ravenscar. Mistletoe and Wine - The beautiful scenery of Robin Hood’s bay glistened under a silk sheet of pure white snow as Ancel and Louise prepared for their special day at the gorgeous Raven Hall in Ravenscar. However as Ancel turned to see the doors of St Hilda’s open it was an altogether more dazzling spectacle that befell him and the gathered guests. Louise made a truly radiant bride in her stunning dress, whiter than the snow, more beautiful than her surroundings. This festive celebration made the perfect Christmas filled with love and happiness, and it also saw the arrival of a very special guest!
The Feversham Arms, Helmsley. Love without Boundaries - Love knows no bounds, cultural or geographical. Alan and Nilima may come from different cultural backgrounds but their love crosses all barriers so perfect are they for one another. They held their wedding day in the surroundings and history of Alan’s British culture with a larger reception planned in Nilima’s Indian homeland. The celebrations were no less lavish however as they celebrated in style at the chic Feversham Arms in the beautiful historical town of Helmsley. As they strolled around the grounds of Helmsley Castle, the strength of the time-tested medieval walls seemed perfectly symbolic of the strength of their new marriage and of the everlasting love they share for one another.
St Marys Priory, Malton. A wedding to last for generations to come - This day held even more sentiment for Sarah as she followed in her mother, grandmother and great grandmother's footsteps in celebrating the most important day of her life at this charming church in the heart of historical Malton. Each bride in her family traditionally has a photograph taken in front of the beautiful facade of the Priory. We hope Sarah's is one she, and her family, can cherish for generations to come.
Santorini, Greece. A wedding to awaken a lost civilisation - This was a wedding worthy of Hera, the Greek goddess of marriage herself. This intimate ceremony on the breathtaking island of Santorini took place overlooking the waters where, legend has it, the lost city of Atlantis rests. An extraordinary day and every wedding photographer's dream setting.
St John the Baptist church, Cayton. A journey of love - This alluring couple travelled from church to reception in fine style in a resplendent classic car, leaving the guests to catch the bus! For once though, this beautiful vintage 60's coach was on time and in mint condition and even the exquisite bride and her jubilant new husband couldn't resist hopping on board to embark on their new lifelong journey together.
York Registry office and Bedern Hall, York. A 14th Century Masterpiece - In the shadow of one of the worlds great cathedrals Bedern Hall is steeped in history, but this 14th century building can scarcely have witnessed such a joyous event as the union of Sofia and Jim, as they celebrated their marriage surrounded by their closest friends and family. As they walked through the ancient winding streets of York and paused in front of the minster, a masterpiece that has survived the centuries was matched by a love that will echo through the ages.
